I watched a documentary from 1999 on bbc iplayer last night about Billingsgate fish market. I recognised some of the characters from when i spent a week there taking pictures a couple of years ago, - especially Mr. Barton, who in 2011 had changed his Indiana Jones hat for a straw hat and had seemed to have given up the fight against the white coat. He was however otherwise much the same in 2011 as he appears to have been in 1999.
